The SMTP server will require authentication and it may be expecting you to connect over a SSL connection (secure socket layer) or it could be that you need to specify a special SMTP server in yourĬonfiguration of Outlook or it could be something so simple as to just entering your credentials for the outgoing server in Outlook. I think where the problem lies with the SMTP configuration. I would expect an online account to work in this situation since the email software on the internet is set to talk to the SMTP server and you just need to provide valid account information. This error is a denial of service from the SMTP server. Usually an Access Denied error will be accompanied by some more information such as 550 5.7.1 Access Denied.
